Texas High School Softball - Palestine topped by Rusk
March 28, 2025: Palestine, TX 75801 Rusk Eagles (Rusk, TX) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Palestine Wildcats (Palestine, TX), 13-0 in a league game.
With the triumph, Rusk upgrades its record to 14-7 on the year. The Eagles host Hudson (Lufkin, TX) to play the Hornets in a 4A Region III District 17 game on Tuesday, April 1. The Hornets enter the game with a record of 13-11. Hudson won 20-6 in their recent league game against Madisonville (Madisonville, TX)
The Wildcats now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Center for a 4A Region III District 17 game on Tuesday, April 1. Palestine will play a Roughriders squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Bullard (Bullard, TX). The Roughriders record now stands at 4-18.
