The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) and the host Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX), observed Lone Star's softball team notch a victory over Creekview by a final score of 9-1.

The Rangers (14-7) will now prepare for their bout against Reedy (Frisco, TX). The Lions go into the 5A Region II District 12 bout with a 13-9 record. In their last bout, Reedy gained a win over The Colony (The Colony, TX), 13-3, in a league bout.
