Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX), 6-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, Lone Star improves its record to 11-7 on the year. The Rangers host Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX) to face the Trojans in a 5A Region II District 12 game on Saturday, March 29. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 0-15. Newman Smith lost 13-0 in their recent league game against Creekview (Carrollton, TX)
