The Reedy Lions softball team scored 16 runs and held the host The Colony Cougars to 8 in the Lions league win on Tuesday.

The Lions now possess a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lone Star for a 5A Region II District 12 battle on Friday, March 14. Reedy will confront a Rangers team coming off a 7-3 league loss to Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, The Colony moves to 1-9 on the season. The Cougars host Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX) to confront the Trojans in a 5A Region II District 12 battle on Friday, March 14.
