California High School Softball - Sierra bounces Minarets

April 4, 2025: O'Neals, CA 93645

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Sierra Chieftains (Tollhouse, CA) and the host Minarets Mustangs (O'Neals, CA), observed Sierra's softball team notch a victory over Minarets by a final score of 13-3.

The Chieftains (8-5) will now prepare for their bout against Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA). The Tribe go into the Northwest Sequoia- North bout with a 6-7 record. In their last bout, Chowchilla was routed by Liberty (Madera, CA), 13-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Madera South Stallions (Madera, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 7. Minarets will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Stallions go into the bout with a 3-11 record after their 12-4 league win over Roosevelt (Fresno, CA).
