The Central Dragons crushed the visiting Bishop McCort Crushers baseball team by a count of 9-2 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Dragons now possess a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Somerset for a Laurel Highlands 1 bout on Tuesday, April 11. Central will face a Eagles team coming off a 14-5 league win over Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.

Next, the Crushers face the Bishop Carroll Huskies (Ebensburg, PA) in a Laurel Highlands 1 bout, on Monday, April 10. Bishop McCort will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Huskies enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 16-1 league loss to Richland (Johnstown, PA).
