In Wednesday's league challenge, the Weed Cougars (Weed, CA) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Fall River Bulldogs (McArthur, CA), by a final score of 13-3.

With the win, Weed upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Redding Christian (Palo Cedro, CA) to battle the Lions in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 12. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Redding Christian lost 8-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Quincy (Quincy, CA)

With the defeat, Fall River falls to 2-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Modoc (Alturas, CA) to battle the Braves in a Shasta Cascade challenge on Friday, April 14. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.
