Georgia High School Soccer - Lakeside held off by South Effingham
April 5, 2024: Guyton, GA 31312 The South Effingham Mustangs held off the visiting Lakeside Panthers soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Friday's league match.
The Mustangs now sport a 13-2 record. They play next when they host Islands for a non-league match on Saturday, April 6. South Effingham will encounter a Sharks squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA). The Sharks record now stands at 9-5.
With the loss, Lakeside drops to 6-10 on the season.
