In Saturday's non-league game, the host Good Samaritan HomeSchool Hornets baseball team scored a close 6-2 win over the John Paul the Great Academy Guardians.

The Hornets (9-2) will now prepare for their game against Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool (Lake Charles, LA). The go into the ACEL game with a 8-3 record. In their last game, Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool nudged NELA Christian Homeschool (Monroe, LA), 5-1, in a non-league game.

Next, the Guardians play the Psalms Christian Academy Ambassadors (Natchitoches, LA) in a ACEL game, on Tuesday, April 8. John Paul the Great Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Ambassadors go into the game with a 8-5 record after their 14-4 league loss to Acadiana Christian (New Iberia, LA).
