In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Taft Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the St. Francis Spartans.

The Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL). The Bison come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Buffalo Grove was tipped by Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
