The Pocahontas County Warriors baseball team (Dunmore, WV), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host James Monroe Mavericks (Lindside, WV)

The Mavericks now hold a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Summers County for a Coalfield AA outing on Friday, April 7. James Monroe will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over WestSide (Clear Fork, WV). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-4.

Next, the Warriors confront the PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, April 8. Pocahontas County will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Panthers go into the outing with a 11-4 record after their 5-2 league win over Mount View (Welch, WV).
