West Virginia High School Baseball - PikeView gets by Mount View

April 7, 2023: Princeton, WV 24740

PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Mount View Golden Knights (Welch, WV), 5-2 in a league test.

With the win, PikeView upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Panthers host Pocahontas County (Dunmore, WV) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, April 8. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-6. Pocahontas County lost 11-1 in their recent non-league test against James Monroe (Lindside, WV)

With the defeat, Mount View falls to 4-4 on the season. The Golden knights travel to Montcalm (Montcalm, WV) to battle the Generals in a Coalfield AA test on Tuesday, April 11. The Generals come into the test with a record of 0-3. Montcalm lost 26-3 in their recent league test against Summers County (Hinton, WV)
