In Saturday's non-league contest, the Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA), by a margin of 11-0.

With the triumph, Grassfield moves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Grizzlies host Hickory (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Hawks in a Southeastern contest on Tuesday, April 9.
