Missouri High School Softball - Miller bounces Southwest
April 6, 2024: Miller, MO 65082 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Miller Cardinals (Miller, MO) and the visiting Southwest Trojans (Washburn, MO), saw Miller's softball squad achieve victory over Southwest by a count of 8-0.
The Cardinals now sport a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Diamond for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 9. Miller will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Lamar (Lamar, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 20-0.
With the loss, Southwest falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Crane (Crane, MO) to face the Pirates in a Class 1 District 5 match on Monday, April 8. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 8-1. Crane won 12-3 in their recent league match against Billings (Billings, MO)
