In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Sandy Valley Cardinals softball team scored a tight 8-4 victory over the Alliance Aviators.

The Cardinals (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Hiland (Berlin, OH). The Hawks go into the Inter Valley South match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Hiland was routed by Indian Valley (Gnadenhutten, OH), 12-2, in a league match.

In their next game, the Aviators battle the Carrollton Warriors (Carrollton, OH) in a Eastern Buckeye match, on Thursday, April 9. Alliance will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Warriors go into the match with a 2-4 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Canton South (Canton, OH).
