The Minerva Lions softball squad (Minerva, OH), was routed 13-0 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Alliance Aviators (Alliance, OH)

With the triumph, Alliance improves its record to 4-6 on the year. The Aviators travel to Salem (Salem, OH) to face the Quakers in a Eastern Buckeye contest on Friday, April 17. The Quakers enter the contest with a record of 1-4. Salem lost 13-4 in their recent non-league contest against Girard (Girard, OH)

The Lions now hold a 3-7 record. They play next when they host East Canton for a non-league contest on Monday, April 20. Minerva will face a Hornets squad coming off a 22-3 non-league loss to Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 4-9.
