The Portland Highlanders baseball team (Portland, CT), was overwhelmed 9-3 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT)

The Blue Devils now hold a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Old Saybrook for a non-league outing on Monday, April 10. Coginchaug Regional will confront a Rams team coming off a 7-6 league loss to Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT). The Rams record now stands at 1-2.

Next, the Highlanders confront the Westbrook Knights (Westbrook, CT) in a Shoreline - Small outing, on Monday, April 10. Portland will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 0-3 record after their 5-2 league loss to Hale Ray (Moodus, CT).
