Brighton Cardinals (Brighton, TN) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Ripley Tigers (Ripley, TN), 15-5 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Brighton improves its record to 11-6 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Millington Central (Millington, TN) to play the Trojans in a 3A District 15 game on Tuesday, April 8. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 8-9. Millington Central lost 8-5 in their recent league game against Covington (Covington, TN)
