The Roncalli Royals (Indianapolis, IN) softball nipped the host Center Grove Trojans (Greenwood, IN), 6-5 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Royals now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbus North for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 8.

With the loss, Center Grove moves to 2-1 on the season. The Trojans travel to Zionsville (Zionsville, IN) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 9.
