The Como-Pickton Eagles overwhelmed the visiting Hawkins Hawks softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Big Sandy Wildcats (Big Sandy, TX) in a 1A Region III District 19 challenge, on Tuesday, April 8. Como-Pickton will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 9-4 league loss to Fruitvale (Fruitvale, TX).

The Hawks (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Martins Mill was routed by Cumby (Cumby, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
