The Minster Wildcats softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Covington Buccs to 4 in the Wildcats non-league win on Monday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ansonia for a non-league battle on Friday, April 11. Minster will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Russia (Russia, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Covington moves to 5-3 on the season. The Buccs travel to Northridge (Dayton, OH) to encounter the Polar Bears in a Three Rivers battle on Tuesday, April 8. The Polar Bears come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
