The Covington Buccs softball team scored 14 runs and held the host Ansonia Tigers to 3 in the Buccs non-league win on Wednesday.

The Buccs now sport a 21-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southeastern Local for a non-league battle on Friday, May 30. Covington will confront a Trojans team coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Waynesfield-Goshen (Waynesfield, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 23-4.
