The Rising Sun Shiners baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Trinity Lutheran Cougars to 2 in the Shiners non-league win on Tuesday.

The Shiners now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oldenburg Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, April 9. Rising Sun will play a Twisters team coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Waldron (Waldron, IN). The Twisters record now stands at 0-2.
