Pennsylvania High School Softball - West Middlesex bounces Farrell
West Middlesex Big Reds (West Middlesex, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Farrell Steelers (Farrell, PA), 17-2 in a league challenge.
The Big Reds now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Slippery Rock for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 10. West Middlesex will face a Rockets squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Franklin (Franklin, PA). The Rockets record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Farrell falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Steelers host Mercer (Mercer, PA) to face the Mustangs in a District 10 Region 1 challenge on Saturday, April 10. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 1-0.
