The West Grand Mustangs held off the visiting Rangely Panthers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Mustangs now have a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plateau Valley for a 2A/1A Western Slope test on Friday, April 9. West Grand will confront a Cowboys team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Nucla (Nucla, CO). The Cowboys record now stands at 6-2.

The Panthers (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Vail Mountain (Vail, CO). The Gore Rangers enter the 2A/1A Western Slope test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Vail Mountain held off Hotchkiss (Hotchkiss, CO), 3-1, in a league test.
