Elko Indians (Elko, NV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Hug Hawks (Reno, NV), 16-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Elko upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV) to battle the Spartans in a 3A North - East test on Tuesday, April 11. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 9-5. Spring Creek won 22-8 in their recent league test against Dayton (Dayton, NV)

With the defeat, Hug falls to 0-8 on the season. The Hawks travel to South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA) to battle the Vikings in a 3A North - West test on Friday, April 14. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 5-4.
