Illinois High School Baseball - Plainfield South loses to Plainfield North
April 8, 2025: Plainfield, IL 60585 Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL), 8-2 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Plainfield North advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Joliet West (Joliet, IL) to battle the Tigers in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 9. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 2-7. Joliet West lost 5-0 in their recent non-league match against Yorkville (Yorkville, IL)
The Cougars now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yorkville for a non-league match on Thursday, April 10. Plainfield South will battle a Foxes squad coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Foxes record now stands at 3-4.
