North Carolina High School Lacrosse - West Brunswick sneaks past South Brunswick
April 8, 2025: Southport, NC 28461 Fans at Tuesday's league test between the West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) and the host South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC), witnessed West Brunswick's lacrosse squad hold off South Brunswick by a count of 8-7.
The Trojans (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers enter the Mideastern test with a 10-1 record. In their last test, Laney nipped Topsail (Hampstead, NC), 15-7, in a league test.
Next, the Cougars battle the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern test, on Thursday, April 10. South Brunswick will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Vikings enter the test with a 8-4 record after their 15-1 league win over New Hanover (Wilmington, NC).
