The Monroe Central Seminoles edged the visiting The Linsly School Cadets softball squad by a count of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Seminoles meet the Magnolia Blue Eagles (New Martinsville, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 10. Monroe Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Blue Eagles enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 10-6 league win over Trinity Christian (Morgantown, WV).

The Cadets (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Brooke (Wellsburg, WV). The Bruins enter the non-league challenge with a 0-13 record. In their last challenge, Brooke was nudged by Beaver Local (Lisbon, OH), 12-1, in a non-league challenge.
