Brookfield Bobcats (Brookfield, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT), 8-7 in a league test.

The Bobcats now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Joel Barlow for a South West test on Thursday, April 11. Brookfield will face a Falcons squad coming off a 16-3 league win over Immaculate (Danbury, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 3-1.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 13. Pomperaug will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 3-2 record after their 12-5 league loss to Xavier (Middletown, CT).
