The Union Pines Vikings lacrosse team (Cameron, NC), was overwhelmed 14-4 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC)

With the victory, Pinecrest advances its record to 8-5 on the season. The Patriots travel to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC) to encounter the Buccaneers in a United 8/All American/Sandhills battle on Thursday, April 10. The Buccaneers come into the battle with a record of 3-12. Jack Britt lost 9-3 in their recent league battle against Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC)

The Vikings now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Terry Sanford for a United 8/All American/Sandhills battle on Thursday, April 10. Union Pines will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 17-0 non-league win over Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-4.
