In Wednesday's non-league test, the Jenkins Cavaliers (Jenkins, KY) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Jackson City Tigers (Jackson, KY), by a tally of 10-0.

Next, the Cavaliers clash with the Knott County Central Patriots (Hindman, KY) in a District 53 test, on Thursday, April 10. Jenkins will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 3-8 record after their 12-6 league loss to Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY).

The Tigers (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Wolfe County (Campton, KY). The Wolves go into the District 55 test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Wolfe County prevailed over Knott County Central (Hindman, KY), 7-3, in a non-league test.
