March 26, 2025: Jenkins, KY 41537 The Jenkins Cavaliers (Jenkins, KY) softball routed the visiting Cordia Lions (Hazard, KY), 16-0 in Wednesday's league outing.
The Cavaliers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Phelps for a non-league outing on Friday, March 28. Jenkins will encounter a Hornets team coming off a 18-5 non-league loss to Council (Council, VA). The Hornets record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Cordia moves to 0-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Friday, March 28. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 0-7. Buckhorn lost 11-1 in their recent league outing against Hazard (Hazard, KY)
