New York High School Softball - Wagner bounces Midwood
April 9, 2025: Brooklyn, NY 11210 The Wagner Falcons (Staten Island, NY) softball routed the host Midwood Hornets (Brooklyn, NY), 16-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Falcons now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grand Street Campus for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 10. Wagner will confront a Wolves team coming off a 16-9 non-league loss to Curtis (Staten Island, NY). The Wolves record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Midwood moves to 0-4 on the season. The Hornets travel to New Dorp (Staten Island, NY) to confront the Central Cougars in a non-league battle on Thursday, April 10. The Central Cougars come into the battle with a record of 1-3. New Dorp lost 16-3 in their recent non-league battle against Madison (Brooklyn, NY)
