The Union Preparatory Polar Bears overwhelmed the host Queen's Grant Stallions softball squad by a count of 17-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Polar Bears meet the Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 29. Union Preparatory will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record.

The Stallions (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Lions go into the non-league challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Hickory Grove Christian toppled Monroe (Monroe, NC), 24-3, in a non-league challenge.
