With the victory, Navajo Prep improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Newcomb (Newcomb, NM) to confront the Skyhawks in a 3A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 13. The Skyhawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Thoreau Hawks (Thoreau, NM) in a 3A District 1 challenge, on Monday, April 12. Crownpoint will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 74-38 non-league win over Navajo Pine (Navajo, NM).
