Pittston Patriots (Pittston, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA), 6-5 in a league test.

With the win, Pittston upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Patriots travel to Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA) to battle the Cougars in a Wyoming Valley 1 test on Wednesday, April 12. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 4-1. Hazleton Area won 13-6 in their recent league test against Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA)

With the defeat, Crestwood falls to 4-2 on the season. The Comets travel to Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA) to battle the Tigers in a Wyoming Valley 1 test on Wednesday, April 12. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-4. Tunkhannock lost 13-6 in their recent league test against Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA)
