Wisconsin High School Softball - DeForest nudges Mount Horeb
April 10, 2023: DeForest, WI 53532 DeForest Norskies (DeForest, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Mount Horeb Vikings (Mount Horeb, WI), 3-2 in a league challenge.
The Norskies now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Sauk Prairie for a Badger - North challenge on Tuesday, April 11. DeForest will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Wisconsin Dells (Wisconsin Dells, WI). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Mount Horeb falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Fort Atkinson (Fort Atkinson, WI) to battle the Blackhawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Blackhawks enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Fort Atkinson lost 11-8 in their recent league challenge against Monona Grove (Monona, WI)
