The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Eastern Hancock Royals (Charlottesville, IN) and the host Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN), saw Eastern Hancock's baseball team gain a win over Cowan by a tally of 4-1.

The Royals (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Blue River Valley (Mt. Summit, IN). The Vikings enter the Mid-Eastern battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Blue River Valley held off Cambridge City Lincoln (Cambridge City, IN), 6-5, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Blackhawks face the Tri Titans (Straughn, IN) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 11. Cowan will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
