Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN) followers left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Eastern Hancock Royals (Charlottesville, IN), 7-3 in a league match.

With the triumph, Monroe Central moves its record to 8-9 on the season. The Golden Bears travel to Muncie Central (Muncie, IN) to battle the Bearcats in a non-league match on Friday, May 2. The Bearcats come into the match with a record of 2-11. Muncie Central lost 23-2 in their recent non-league match against Delta (Muncie, IN)

The Royals now possess a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri for a non-league match on Friday, May 2. Eastern Hancock will battle a Titans squad coming off a 15-2 non-league loss to North Decatur (Greensburg, IN). The Titans record now stands at 0-9.
