The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Lapel Bulldogs (Lapel, IN) and the visiting Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), saw Lapel's baseball team gain a win over Monroe Central by a tally of 9-0.

The Bulldogs (8-0) will now prepare for their battle against Frankton (Frankton, IN). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Frankton was overwhelmed by Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN), 13-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Golden Bears face the Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN) in a Mid-Eastern battle, on Tuesday, April 22. Monroe Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Blackhawks enter the battle with a 4-2 record after their 13-2 league loss to Shenandoah (Middletown, IN).
