April 10, 2025: Suwanee, GA 30024 Frederick Douglass Broncos (Lexington, KY) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Peachtree Ridge Lions (Suwanee, GA), 9-3 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Frederick Douglass moves its record to 7-7 on the season. The Broncos travel to West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY) to confront the Colts in a non-league match on Friday, April 18. The Colts come into the match with a record of 5-11. West Jessamine won 13-1 in their recent league match against Burgin (Burgin, KY)
The Lions now possess a 16-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Gwinnett for a AAAAAA Region 7 match on Tuesday, April 15. Peachtree Ridge will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-7 non-league win over Greeneville (Greeneville, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 24-2.
