April 4, 2025: Lexington, KY 40509 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Frederick Douglass Broncos (Lexington, KY) and the visiting Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY), saw Frederick Douglass's baseball team get by Franklin County by a tally of 3-2.
The Broncos (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA). The Gladiators enter the non-league battle with a 14-7 record.
Next, the Flyers face the Peachtree Ridge Lions (Suwanee, GA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 7. Franklin County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 14-10 record after their 5-2 league loss to Brookwood (Snellville, GA).
