North Carolina High School Baseball - Hoke County loses to Pinecrest

April 10, 2025: Raeford, NC 28376

In Thursday's league bout, the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC), by a tally of 9-2.

Next up, the Patriots encounter the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 14. Pinecrest will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 11-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to South Brunswick (Southport, NC).

The Bucks (2-17) will now prepare for their test against Harnett Central (Angier, NC). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Harnett Central was overwhelmed by Triton (Erwin, NC), 12-7, in a league test.
