Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) followers left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC), 5-1 in a league match.

With the triumph, Hopewell moves its record to 14-3 on the season. The Titans travel to South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Sabres in a non-league match on Saturday, April 12. The Sabres come into the match with a record of 13-7. South Mecklenburg won 5-2 in their recent league match against Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC)

The Hawks now possess a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chambers for a non-league match on Monday, April 14. West Mecklenburg will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-9.
