Virginia High School Soccer - McLean knocks off Fairfax
April 10, 2025: Fairfax, VA 22030 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) and the host Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA), saw McLean's soccer squad triumph over Fairfax by a count of 6-0.
The Highlanders (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Wakefield (Arlington, VA). The Warriors enter the Liberty battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Wakefield was overwhelmed by South County (Lorton, VA), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Lions battle the West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) in a Patriot battle, on Wednesday, April 23. Fairfax will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Justice (Falls Church, VA).
