In Friday's league bout, the Kossuth Aggies (Kossuth, MS) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Alcorn Central Golden Bears (Glen, MS), by a tally of 13-3.

Next up, the Aggies encounter the Mooreville Troopers (Mooreville, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 11. Kossuth will attempt to upgrade on its 18-3 season record. The Troopers enter the bout with a 17-6 record after their 10-0 non-league win over East Union (Blue Springs, MS).

The Golden Bears (13-11) will now prepare for their bout against Biggersville (Corinth, MS). The Lions enter the non-league bout with a 13-8 record. In their last bout, Biggersville overcame Jumpertown (Booneville, MS), 15-0, in a league bout.
