The Kossuth Aggies baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Tishomingo County Braves to 7 in the Aggies non-league win on Saturday.

The Aggies now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Belmont for a 3A Region 1 test on Tuesday, March 3. Kossuth will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Tupelo Christian Prep (Belden, MS). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-6.

With the defeat, Tishomingo County drops to 4-3 on the year. The Braves host North Pontotoc (Ecru, MS) to clash with the Vikings in a 4A Region 2 test on Tuesday, March 3. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 2-5. North Pontotoc lost 13-1 in their recent non-league test against Saltillo (Saltillo, MS)
