New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, MS) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Kossuth Aggies (Kossuth, MS), 6-5 in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now hold a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Houston for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 3. New Albany will play a Hilltoppers team coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Bruce (Bruce, MS). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 6-3.

With the defeat, Kossuth drops to 3-2 on the year. The Aggies host Mooreville (Mooreville, MS) to battle the Troopers in a non-league outing on Saturday, February 28.
