The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX) and the visiting Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX), saw Frisco's baseball team gain a win over Sherman by a tally of 10-0.

The Raccoons (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against Independence (Frisco, TX). The Knights enter the 5A Region II District 11 battle with a 3-16 record. In their last battle, Independence was overwhelmed by Liberty (Frisco, TX), 20-6, in a league battle.

Next, the Bearcats face the Denison Yellow Jackets (Denison, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 battle, on Thursday, April 16. Sherman will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the battle with a 8-20 record after their 2-1 league loss to Greenville (Greenville, TX).
